PLEASE NOTE: This recipe calls for the GRILLING or BROILING of food. In most countries of the world, the term "grilling" refers to heat coming from above the food source. Significantly, in North America, it signifies heat from below the food (such as barbecuing). In the United States and Canada, when the heat source for grilling comes from above, grilling is termed broiling, and the pan that holds the food is usually called a broiler pan.
How to Cook Grilled Bacon (Broiled Bacon)
- Preheat the grill (broiler). Lay the bacon rashers (slices) flat on the grill pan (broiler pan). Cook on high heat for three to four minutes, turning once. If you like your bacon crisp, cook for a few minutes longer.
- Whether you are cooking bacon as part of a whole meal or whether you plan to just stap a few rashers between slices of bread, it's a food that is easy to cook and cheap.

You will find that back bacon has a tendency to curl when grilled. To prevent this, snip the fat several times with a pair of scissors. The cut should go from the outside edge, towards the meat.
Reviews of Grilled Bacon (Broiled Bacon)
![]() It's nice to see a recipe site including all the basics like this one (I notice you've got fried eggs and sausages and tomatoes as well). While most of us were lucky enough to be able to spend time with our parents in the kitchen and learn basic cooking from them, many others have not been so lucky, so well done Needarecipe.com for being all-inclusive. dantheman (19 reviews) |
