I need to correct something first! An entrée is NOT the main course. It is the starter course. The word is French and means exactly what it says ... the 'entry' into the meal. So let's make a pact and have no more of this "entrée" nonsense! If you go to a restaurant where the main course is advertised an an entrée, let them know they are heathen clowns and their food had better be an improvement on their menu!!!

Okay - that's that off my chest! I can live with supposed professionals calling it a 'starter' course, but not misusing the very obvious word for the first course! ... Now for some excellent entrée recipes!
