How to Cook Fried Bananas
- Peel the bananas and cut in two lengthways. Melt the butter in a frying pan and fry the bananas over a medium heat for a few minutes on each side. Sprinkle with sugar, pour honey over them or add some double cream (heavy cream) and drizzle with chocolate syrup. Serve immediately.
GRAHAM'S HOT TIP:
If you are buying bananas just for frying, try to find some that are under-ripe (with green skins) since they will soften considerably whilst cooking.
Reviews of Fried Bananas
July 23 2014My sort of cooking - stupidly simple and something that the kids love. They howl for this one on a regular basis!! I have even used it as a reward for behaving themselves. dantheman (19 reviews) |
