Here's a nice, simple way to make a Mango Smoothie with just a few ingredients. It's great for kids, but I've seen the adults knock it back, too! Combine orange, lemon, mango, and a few other ingredients and make a tasty blended smoothie for breakfast or a snack.

      Preparation Time: 10 Minutes

to serve 4:
2
ripe mangoes
8 fl oz
milk
1 tablespoon
maple syrup (or golden syrup, or honey)
1
orange
1
lemon

How to Cook Mango Smoothie

  1. Squeeze the juice from the orange and the lemon. Peel the mangoes and cut the flesh into pieces and place in a blender along with the orange and lemon juice, the milk and the syrup (or honey). Blend well to reduce to a drinkable consistency. Chill until needed.

Surprisingly, Mango Smoothies are great with certain meats, like Cubes of Veal with Spicebread Sauce for example.

Reviews of Mango Smoothie

Rating 4 out of 5 - Many cooks will make this recipe again August 21 2013
YUMMY!!!! It's thicker even than the ones I've had in Indian restaurants. I would describe this as rich, creamy and pleasantly sweet with a gentle mango flavor. I found it refreshing and rate it easily four stars
