How to Cook Pizza Fries
Cook the fries according to the package directions - usually about 12-15 minutes in a preheated hot oven (Mk 7 - 425ºF - 220ºC). Meanwhile, shred the mozzarella and thinly slice the pepperoni. - When the fries are browned, remove the dish from the oven and pour the pizza sauce over the fries. Top with the cheese and pepperoni and bake for a further 5 minutes or until the sauce is warm and the cheese has melted. Apply to face immediately.
GRAHAM'S HOT TIP:
I like to warm the pizza sauce in the microwave or in a pan before using it to top the fries. Then I just watch for the cheese to melt to my satisfaction.
Reviews of Pizza Fries
August 13 2014This is a great oven fry recipe. I probably had more french fries for the topping, but they were still flavorful and tasty. I was leary adding soo much cheese and pepperoni to these but in the end it turned out to be the right amount. I am not sure if these taste exactly like pizza but they are darn good anyway!!! Thanks! April 19 2014I made this up with two of my daughter's favorite foods in mind: french fries and pizza. She took one bite and said "These are good! They taste like pizza!" Exactly what I had in mind. daria (6 reviews) |
