Lemon Dressing Recipe

Lemon Dressing

Graham

Recipe by

This type of salad dressing is more 'tangy' than either Vinegar Dressing or Summer Oil Dressing but makes a nice change on a hot summer's day and is excellent for making Raw Carrot Salad.

While other salad dressings can be made in advance and will keep quite a long time, you should make Lemon Dressing as you need it because it doesn't keep for long.

salt and pepper
½
lemon
3 - 4 tablespoons
olive oil

How to Cook Lemon Dressing

  1. Place a little salt and freshly-ground pepper into a large bowl. Squeeze the lemon and add the juice to the bowl. Stir, then add the Olive Oil and mix thoroughly until you achieve a consistent dressing.
  2. This light Salad Dressing can be used in many ways. For a simple salad, place the lettuce leaves into a bowl and gently, but thoroughly, toss them into the dressing until they are completely coated. Lemon Dressing is great for a mixed salad at a barbeque.

Graham GRAHAM'S HOT TIP:
If you want to add a little extra 'something' to the dressing, zest the lemon and add the zest to the dressing mixture.
