How to Cook Nutty Potatoes

  1. Peel the potatoes and follow the recipe for creamed potatoes. Leave the potato to cool then divide and shape into balls about 2" (5cm) in diameter. Place on a flat surface and flatten slightly with a broad knife (or your hand) so that you have a circular shape about 3" (7.5cm) in diameter and 1" (2.5cm) deep.
  2. Roll the potato shapes in a saucer of chopped nuts to coat the exterior then place them on a greased baking tray and cook in a preheated moderate oven Mk 6 - 400ºF - 200ºC for about 20 - 25 minutes until crisp and golden brown.
